 -My Personal Collection-

I have recently had the blessing of discovering a nice collection of rare Muresque Tiles. The company operated in Oakland from 1925-1934. The owner of the company, William F. Muir, relocated to Fresno Ca in 1935 after he closed the company down. I was invited to his estate to bring these treasures back from the "Tile Graveyard" as we have now named it. Among the many wonderful treasures I discovered were several Muresque tiles including some very rare prototypes as well as this incredible 70 tile mural with 6x6 inch tiles. With the expertise of Eric Ramos and his wife Wanda from ericstile.com , the mural was salvaged from a wall of cement and brick located in the Muir home. The mural and the other treasures I discovered will be at the Golden California Show Oct. 8th-9th at the Glendale Civic Auditorium.
